Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. Account authentication is managed through Supabase, a third-party authentication provider.

Payment Information: When you subscribe to APEX Tech, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe may collect your payment method details, billing address, and transaction history in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including features accessed, AI diagnostic queries submitted, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve the App and provide better service.

AI Diagnostic Data: When you use the AI diagnosis feature, your vehicle information, concern descriptions, uploaded images, and conversation history are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing. This data is used solely to generate diagnostic responses and is not used to train AI models.

Location Data: APEX Tech does not request, collect, or track your geographic location at any time.

Contacts or Phone Data: We do not access your contacts, call logs, SMS messages, or any other phone data.

Device Sensors: We do not access your camera, microphone, accelerometer, or other device sensors except when you explicitly choose to upload an image through the file picker for AI diagnosis.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity and manage your account
• To process subscription payments through Stripe
• To provide AI-powered automotive diagnostic assistance via Anthropic's Claude
• To deliver educational content and training materials
• To manage daily usage limits and subscription status
• To improve the App's features, content, and performance
• To communicate important updates about the service

We share information only with the following service providers, solely for the purpose of operating the App:

• Supabase — for user authentication and account management
• Stripe — for secure payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — for AI-powered diagnostic and educational responses
• Vercel — for application hosting

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data protection practices.

APEX Tech uses cookies and browser local storage for the following purposes:

• Authentication cookies — to keep you logged in and verify your session
• Preference storage — to save your language and theme settings
• Usage tracking — to manage daily AI query limits

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Authentication tokens are securely managed through Supabase, and payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as maintaining financial records of transactions).

• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
